What’s your favourite thing to do at the weekend? We're pretty sure dressing up with the lads for a bottomless brunch would be top of the list! 90 minutes of unlimited cocktails/beer - you can't go wrong. Just because we can’t leave our house, doesn’t mean we can’t do our favourite thing.
Let’s get bottomless brunched - MAUVAIS style! We have put together a list of our favourite cocktails with instructions on how to make them so you can become your households very own quarantine bottomless brunch bartender.

This is the latest social media platform to go viral and it's come at the perfect time. You may have already heard of it but if you haven't then now is the time to get on it. So It's time to make a cocktail, open up houseparty and enjoy your quarantine bottomless brunch with the lads. MAUVAIS COCKTAIL MENU
- Vodka or Vanilla vodka (Vanilla vodka is our favourite)
- Juice from fresh passion fruit or store-bought purée.
- Passion Fruit Liqueur, such as Passoa
- Fresh lime juice – optional, to cut the sweetness
- Simple syrup (sugar syrup)
- Vanilla – you can use Vanilla vodka or use vanilla extract!
- A large shot of chilled Prosecco or Champagne served on the side
- Fresh passion fruit slice to garnish
CHILL THE GLASSES
Put two martini glasses in the freezer to chill.
EXTRACT THE JUICE
Slice the passion fruit and scoop out the seeds into a small sieve set over your cocktail shaker. Press on the seeds with the back of a spoon to extract the juice. (Or use passion fruit purée)
Half fill your cocktail shaker with cubed ice. Add the vodka, passion fruit liqueur, lime juice, sugar syrup and vanilla extract. Shake hard for 30 seconds. Taste your cocktail – is it too sweet or too sour? Adjust the lime juice or sugar syrup
READY TO SERVE
Strain the cocktail into the chilled glasses and garnish with a thin slice of passion fruit. Serve the shots of Prosecco on the side. Snap a couple of Instagram shots and enjoy!
This is a bottomless brunch’s Hero cocktail and our resolution to getting through quarantine. To us, you can’t really get any better. It is a sweet, tasty, fruity cocktail and you can make it as strong as you like! (we never fail to over-do the vodka). The one shot of Processco/Champagne is optional, you can have the whole bottle!
JAMAICAN ME CRAZY
- 1 oz white rum
- 1 oz coconut rum
- 1 oz banana liqueur
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz passion fruit juice
Add some ice to a shaker and pour over 1oz each of white rum, coconut rum, and banana liqueur. Add 2oz each of pineapple and passion fruit juice. Shake or stir vigorously. Add ice to a highball or hurricane glass. Strain shaker over ice.
Add 1oz each of white rum, coconut rum, and banana liqueur and 2oz each of pineapple and passion fruit juice to a blender. Add enough ice to come to the top of the liquid. Blend until smooth.
The Jamaican Me Crazy cocktail is the perfect tropical cocktail you can make that brings the beach to YOU. The passion fruit juice, coconut rum, and banana liquor combine to create the most delicious drink from the comfort of your own home. Your mates will LOVE this one, show them how it’s done! This will definitely make you crazyyyy.
NO ESCAPE ZOMBIE
- 75ml Rum Blend (1:1:1 Dark Rum:Gold Rum:White Rum)
- 25ml Apricot Brandy
- 25ml Pineapple Juice
- 25ml Grapefruit Juice
- 25ml Lime Juice
- 12.5ml Grenadine
- 2-3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 25ml Overproof Rum (Garnish)
- Squeezed Lime-Half for Garnish
- Powdered Cinnamon for Garnish
Take your glass, we recommend using the weirdest glass or cup that you own! Using your jigger to measure, add the rum blend, apricot brandy, grenadine, pineapple and grapefruit juice to the shaker. Using your fruit squeezer and jigger to measure, squeeze 25ml of lime juice and add it to the shaker
Reserve one squeezed lime-half for garnish, Add 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters to the shaker. Fill your shaker with cubed ice and seal with the Boston tin or lid
Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds, or until your tin is very cold.
Strain your cocktail into your weird mug, before adding ice. Fill your mug with cubed ice. Hollow out your squeezed lime-half to make a bowl and balance it on top of your cocktail. Fill the lime half with overproof rum, and use a match to light it.
Shake some cinnamon over the flame to create sparks. Blow out the flaming rum and carefully pour it into the drink. Finish with a straw.
Serve and enjoy!
Whether or not the story of man ordering this drink and subsequently becoming so drunk it turned him into a zombie is true, we aren’t sure. BUT we know one thing, this is the perfect lock down cocktail. The no escape will not only get you and your mates obliterated; it will also be a lot of fun to make! Please use extreme caution when lighting and serving the No Escape Zombie Cocktail!
